2019 Toyota Landcruiser 200 Series GXL
The Toyota Landcruiser 200 series is King of the road and makes towing a caravan a breeze, which is why you will see plenty of them around Perth and beyond. It is widely regarded as the best vehicle for towing and with the stats below, it isn’t hard to see why.
The Ford Ranger is one of the most popular dual cab utilities around right now. The Ranger has plenty of torque and power for towing, is fantastic on or off-road and is packed with technology and safety features.
The Isuzu D-Max makes light work of heavy loads. With its impressive 450Nm of torque, it has the power to move even when weighed down by your trailer. The D-Max also has plenty of safety features for safe towing such as; reverse camera, TSC and ESC.
The Ford Everest is the perfect all-rounder, it can transport the family and tow the caravan with ease. Whilst its stats aren’t as impressive as a Landcruiser, the price tag puts it within reach of those with a smaller budget and can still pull a heavy load.
There is one word for the Nissan Patrol. Impressive. It is powerful, smooth and has the biggest GCM of all. The only downfall is that it is a petrol which can mean it guzzles your fuel. But, under load there isn’t much variation to a diesel.
